Boris took bus from Santiago to Los Angeles (1). In hotel there he asked directions to Lake Laja (2). On his way north from Lake Laja he met two carabineros and continued his trip. Boris disappeared in the area of the confluence Los Sauces and Nuble Rivers. Area of Mount Maravilla was a military sensitive area (3). Not far from Parral (4) located the front gates of Villa Baviera with its "Casa de recepción." The private 70-square-mile territory of Villa Baviera, formerly Colonia Dignidad, (5) is not marked on any map.
