2010. March 4, 2010. At the human rights commission.
Olga Weisfeiler is presenting her brother's, Boris Weisfeiler, disappearance case to the member of a recently opened human rights commission - La Comisión.
In March 2010, I submitted my statement and supporting documents to the new Valech HR Commission. Yet, twenty years after the Rettig Commission, a new HR Commission failed to recognize Boris’s disappearance as a human rights violation in spite of having at its disposal hundreds of US declassified documents which weren’t available for the first HR Commission. Those documents leave no doubts that my brother disappeared at the hands of agents of State repression who gravely violated Boris’s human rights: his rights to freedom and dignity, his right to life.
